Well, we don't know how the standings will shake out a couple weeks from now but, for now, the Buffalo Sabres are officially in the playoffs.
With five straight wins they're the hottest team in hockey. Lindy Ruff challenged them to win their final 10 so they're halfway there. It seems unrealistic to expect that they could win another five straight given their remaining schedule, but there's one thing I know: If they do, they're in for good.
