The US Government invades Iraq, installs a government of its own choosing, writes said government's constitution, plans to leave 50,000 troops to ostensibly "advise and assist" said government, builds its own military bases, and builds a $700 million embassy for US Government and Iraqi government workers. But this is not colonialism to anyone except Michael Hirsh.

Mccain's spawn was on some news show today (not sure which one, I'm in costa rica and there are only a couple channels en ingles, but I think it was abc) spouting the typical neocon line that we are enabling "our" enemies by announcing our "retreat." I guess the only acceptable solution would be to make Iraq the 51st US state.
Bollocks. I have half a mind not to come back.
