I was home this morning with Biggie Smalls, who woke up late last night with a fever and couldn't go to daycare today. We were playing catch in the living room and The View was on -- yes, it was better than having to watch the fourth consecutive rerun of Dora or Diego -- and Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck were going back and forth about Obama's economic plans for bailouts, mortgages, and the like.
Admittedly, I didn't pay too much attention to what they were saying. I was paying more attention to my son, it sounded like the standard liberal/conservative blather, and I don't usually turn to gossipy chicks for political insight. But Whoopi was taking it all in when she decided to interrupt and say (I paraphrase), "Look, the man didn't end up walking on water like we thought he would," finishing with "It's a joke!" in an attempt to get her co-hosts to put the issue to rest.
The best part wast Shepherd's exasperation upon hearing Whoopi's opinion, as she said "Not you!" a couple times as they cut to commercial. Whoopi's hardly the first black Obama supporter to voice discontent with the president's insufferable policies, but good on ya, Sherri, for pushing the groupthink!
What would happen if The View team read and gave some serious thought to Tom Woods newest offering - Nullification? I wonder if that would be too much to ask of the group think team; probably so. If it isn't on the talking points list of the Dems or GOP, it's a no go on The View!

Speaking of which, I just purchased 'Nullification' today.
