Last year I posted Brandon Bryant's audition for So You Think You Can Dance. I was simply blown away by his performance. His musicality, his techinque, his power, his control are all amazing. I consider it a blessing to be able to watch him.
Unfortunately, he did not make the top 20 last year, but he's back this year with an even better performance. This routine brought one of the judges to tears. Yes, it's that amazing!
You can see his performance at last year's audition below:
I agree, it is really good to see Brandon back this season. He mixes power with grace so well; it's a rare combination. However, my personal favorite has got to be Nathan Trasoras. First off, I like the almost overly dramatic way he dances, and then I was so happy to see that he was dancing to “Pollen and Salt” by Daphne Loves Derby that he completely won me over. There’s a clip of his audition at : http://modestcomplexity.blogspot.com/2009/05/daphne-loves-derby.html

Oh, yes. I remember his audition, too. He has excellent control of his priouettes and as Nigel remarked, excellent control coming out of them. I'm glad that he continued dancing and didn't listen to the naysayers around him.
I'm actually glad that he is too young to compete this season simply because Brandon is my favorite. But hopefully he'll be top 20 next season.
