It's Taser Time in the B-Lo!
Several police agencies around Buffalo are adding Tasers to their citizen compliance arsenals.
“I know for a fact we have people alive in our town because of them,” said Lt. David Baumgartner of the Town of Tonawanda department, citing at least one case where a suspect attempted to commit “suicide by cop” and was disappointed after police had him in custody moments later without injury.
What an ignoramus. I know for a fact that many people are dead because of police use of Tasers, too. On which side should we err here?
The pivotal point here is that there are a lot of people who would still be alive today if government police forces didn't exist in the first place.
You do not know for a FACT that anyone is dead as a result of taser use. That's just false.
Please prove your fact.

I knew I could get Mr James out of the woodwork.
All of the deceased linked above were alive before they were electrocuted by the state's goon squad.
If that isn't proof enough, you are blinded by an ideology that is beyond my control.

Of course, there's no possible way for you to be blnded...
The facts in each case point to everything but tasers. Those are the facts.
Tasers may be used by the government. But so are guns. Batons. And pepper spray.
Your analysis that a taser causes death is an opinion published as fact. Whether you agree or not is immaterial. Your opinion is just that.
Blaming tasers for a death is the same as blaming carbon dioxide for increased global temperatures. The two may go in the same direction, but the two may have no correlation at all.
P.S. I've never left the forest. I agree with you on just about everything but tasers. But it's not fun to debate things that we agree on. Right?

I just posted a comment that was deleted somehow, but the gist of it was:
Person is tased. Person dies. Even if there are other factors that contribute to the death, such as drugs in the system, the fact of the matter is that Tasers provide the fatal blow in those circumstances.
As I've stated many times before, I have no problem with Tasers, per se, but in the hands of the state's goons they are lethal and it's appalling that we put up with the random electrocution of human beings.

That much we can agree on.....
