If you live in Southern Maryland, you know that beer-league softball is a force to be reckoned with. My playing days are pretty much kaput, but I figured one great way to keep in touch with friends who play and also get my company involved in the community was to sponsor a softball team.
I'm pleased to announce that T-Rev's Stiff Willi Chili is a proud sponsor of Chaney's men's softball team, a team that is always at the top of the league, plays at the well-known Brass Rail Sportsbar, and most importantly, fills its roster with guys who embody hard work and sportsmanship.
The season is slated to kick off this Saturday at the Brass Rail during the Early Bird Tournament, and I'm planning to host a chili promotion for at least part of the afternoon. However, because the weather looks like this for the weekend...
... I'm really hoping the tourney doesn't get rained out.
