Last night I got a text from my friend Dan, who told me his wife was whipping up a batch of her famous "Margarita Chili" (sounds like I need that recipe) for a chili cookoff at work today and kicking it up with a little T-Rev's Stiff Willi Chili Spice Mix.
Kelly is the defending office champ, so I was honored just to be a part of the batch in any capacity. And while she didn't use quite as much as my recipe on the bottle calls for, she still used four heaping tablespoons, which is definitely enough to provide a distinct flavor.
Well, I'm happy to report that I just got another text from Dan to let me know that Kelly is now the reigning champ two years running. Proof that my spice mix can be used to win cookoffs when it's used as the primary seasoning or simply as a supplement to yours.
