T-Rev's Stiff Willi Chili is the 2009 ICS world champion in People's Choice Chili, and as promised, here are some photos documenting one wild weekend in West Virginia.
THE PREGAME
I didn't cook until Sunday, so we headed to Appalachian Power Park on Saturday to party with the green chili cooks. I gotta say, there are a lot of weird faces in the shuttle for a bunch of people holding Dasani water bottles!

GAME DAY
Got my very own sign and everything.
Prep time
Yeah, we get excited about cooking chili. I'm pretty sure the "chili pecker" apron was the biggest hit of the day.
Playing with your meat isn't necessarily glamorous, but it IS necessary from time to time.

You're looking at almost 8 gallons of People's Choice chili. It lasted a whole hour and a half once we started serving it.
The Chili Chicks dug the Stiff Willi and even did a little line dance for us.

I'm still trying to track down more pictures from all my friends who were in attendance, so they'll probably roll in over the course of the next week. Then again, it's hard to remember to snap photos when you're drinking, so we'll see what we get!
